| Pat Matarese has been involved with dogs since he was a child. He had boxers with his parents, and various |
| other breeds as a young adult, airedales, rottweillers, giant schnauzers, and then onto German Shepherds. |
| He spent his entire life studying and training dogs. Pat has been affiliated with USA since the early 90's. |
| He is a breed warden, as well as a certified national level helper, and has done helper work at 65 plus club trials |
| with excellent ratings from USA and SV judges. Pat has also been chosen to do helper work in numerous |
| Regional and National events. |
| Pat has been awarded the Gold Medal training award from United Schutzhund Clubs of America, and is a |
| member of the Schutzhund III Club. |
| He has dedicated his time to training schutzhund dogs and police dogs. Pat is also an OPOTA trainer in the |
| State of Ohio, certified in narcotics, patrol, bomb, search and rescue. |
| Pat is the Department Trainer for the Portage County Sheriff's Department and he breeds under the |
| Kennel name vom Diamant Grenze. |
